Forgive me for my long absence. Anyway 2 days ago, I bought a new book from Dakwah Bookstore  in Seksyen 14, Petaling Jaya. A very interesting book written by Dr. Muhammad ‘Abd Al-Rahman Al-Arifi a prominent scholar from Saudi Arabia. This books actually was recommended by my brother. The author writing reminds me of Dr. Aidh Abdullah Al-Qarni masterpiece ie: “Dont be Sad” or “La Tahzan” which became the best seller throughout the world.

This is an exquisite collection of incidents from the life of the Prophet’s, stories from our Islamic Heritage, and thought-provoking anecdotes from the life of the author. The aim of the book is to train the reader to enjoy living his life by practicing various self-development and inter-personal skills. What is so compelling and inspiring about this book is that, in order to highlight the benefit of using social skills, the author draws from the lives of the Prophet (S) and his Companions.

This book is both a practical systematic guide to self-improvement and a treasure trove of historical incidents. It increases self-awareness, whilst nurturing the soul and strengthening the spirit.

In short, this book should be read by everybody irrespective of any races, religion and political belief. In fact, it can boost your motivational level up to the level that everyone cannot imagine it.  I must say that this book is strongly recommended to all readers.

The original version is in Arabic and was translated into English by Pustaka Darussalam. Nevertheless I enjoy reading it since the translator used a simple English.

An excrept of author’s foreword:

Hence this book is not the product of a month or a year’s toil. Rather, it is the result of twenty years of serious study.

Please read it and you will find answer to some of the question in your daily life. Hope to find more solution and improve ourself.
